Documents: File Manager & Docs App Reviews

Ive been using GoodReader 3 for years now, and was reluctant to pay a second time for the same app to upgrade to GR 4, and with iOS 11 around the corner which will drop support for 32 bit apps like GoodReader 3 I started looking for alternatives.... found Documents which is *free* (though Id happily pay for a refined app such as this...especially as an iOS developer myself), has a cleaner interface and does everything I need it to: password protection, SFTP, iCloud sync, Dropbox sync, access to music library, wifi transfers, text editing and of course excellent PDF support. Excellent job Readdle.

i wish there was an option to turn off alphabetical ordering of the file names, its quite annoying when youre trying to keep them all in a certain position but the alphabetizing is putting files in places i dont wish them to be in!

Keeps everything I need for school organized

Being directed by the Kraft coupon lady to print a coupon sends me to documents. Then it says it cannot open or print file. Grrrrrrrrrrrr

This is a pretty great app and best part is its free. I use it to store my personal documents. You can use it to upload photos to an FTP server for backup purposes. I love that it has file encryption and option to add authentication. Bravo!

I download YouTube videos and music which saves me a ton of money. Can watch and listen off line. You can download YouTube videos to watch during long periods of time such as flights. I really recommend this app.

A hub is a central place where a multitude of activity occurs. Granted finding a niche will serve a specific set of users. The utility of this app is that it is my go to app for multi-fold purposes. All under one roof and in one house it opens the door to serving as a central hub for my document and movie and zip file storage managing. All board. Last stop to Brooklyn. Borough your way through your working needs with this app.

Have been using this app for about a year, easy too used enjoy the ability to download videos and save them. And can easily move photos and documents around.

This Application is certainly one of the best of its kind out there. It is well developed and maintained. The many uses of the application make it a must on every IPhone and IPad. Great job!

Please add some layout options: i need double pages with front cover in order to see photos spread over two pages! Any news?

I think, its one of the best non-paid reading app in this store. Usually use it for big amount of files , so I can easily find the necessary one.

Best app for documents!

Highly recommend this app. I use it for videos I upload from my PS4 to YouTube so I can edit it from my iPhone. Works like a charm and the quality of the video isnt changed at all making it still look High Def.
